Christine M. RiceChristine M. Rice
Christine graduated cum laude from Carroll College in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She practiced for several years as a Registered Nurse primarily in the areas of pediatrics and women’s health. In May of 2005, Christine graduated magna cum laude from Marquette University Law School where she was a member and associate editor of the Marquette Law Review and recognized with five C.A.L.I. Excellence for the Future Awards.

At S&D, Christine has successfully litigated cases to the court and jury. She has participated in the litigation of 12 appellate cases and assisted in taking two to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. From 2008 through 2012, Christine was selected as a Wisconsin Rising Star as reported by Milwaukee Magazine in Law & Politics’ “Wisconsin Super Lawyers” survey. Rising Stars are chosen by their peers as being among the top up-and-coming lawyers (40 years old and younger or in practice 10 years or less) in the state. Only 2.5% of the total lawyers in Wisconsin are listed as Rising Stars. In August 2010, Christine was honored by the Wisconsin Law Journal as an “Up and Coming Lawyer.” She was one of 26 Wisconsin attorneys recognized as being on the fast track to making a significant impact on the legal profession.

Christine enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She donates her time volunteering at their school and parish activities. Christine is also an active member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Defense Counsel, and the Association for Women Lawyers.
